Wittenberg University is a private four-year liberal arts college located in Springfield, which is a city in the US state of Ohio, serving as the county seat of Clark County, with a population of more than 62 000 inhabitants, at the time of the 2007 census.
The university was established in 1845 and it is affiliated with the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America.
